EPR Services

We all are aware that India is the fastest-growing electronic consumer market in the world. Consequently, the amount of electronic waste being generated is also high when the products reach the end of their use. Looking at the ever-growing hazardous and toxic effects of electronic waste on the environment, India’s Government has introduced an Extended Producer Responsibility in the E-Waste Management Rules, 2016.This policy sets out guidelines for the producers who have to ensure that the electronic waste generated is recycled when it reaches the end of its use. Failing to do so can attract hefty fines. The guidelines are laid out to ensure that every stakeholder involved in the massive generation of e-waste takes equal responsibility for recycling it.

At Envirokare, we believe in partnering with companies to help them achieve their EPR targets of recycling. We share the EPR targets with the company and take responsibility for a mutually agreed target that Envirokare would be responsible for executing end-to-end. This end-to-end execution would entail identifying target waste, buying the waste, collection and reverse logistics, tying up with other companies who recycle the targeted waste, and finally ensuring that the target taken is recycled and compliance completed.
